Motif

Aquamarine
In the middle ages, aquamarine was supposed to give its wearer cheerfulness and to compose the heart and mind. It was called, in fact, the "sweet-tempered stone," and these qualities might perhaps account for the presence of a piece of blue beryl in the English crown.

Aquamarine is a "stone of courage."  It helps people to learn quickly and to use knowledge in "always being prepared."  The energy of aquamarine is both flowing and structured.  It cna protect against polutants.  Aquamarine helps in achieving higher levels of consciousness and in the ability to understand complexities.  It brings order, tolerance and moderation.

Folklore and Mythology of Aquamarine
Aquamarine was traditionally worn by sailors to protect them from the water and against storms.  Aquamarine has also been used to protect against gossip.  In medieval Europe, aquamarine was beleived to re-awaken love in a marriage and to make soldiers invincible in battle.  The Greeks beleived that aquamarine would absorb the energy of young love and was considered the best gift for a groom to give his bride after consumnating their marriage. It was popular among European royalty to wear aquamarine as an antidote to poison.  Ancient Romans used Aquamarine in treating ailments of the stomach, liver and throat.

Healing Properties of Aquamarine

Idea 01: Gowns and Suites (Grecian)

I have no experience in event planning but this one, I'm truly excited about. My sister will be married next year around 1st-2nd week of May. She is currently in England and will go home on the last week of April 2011 and will stay here for just a month. (oh noes)

For now, according to FemaleNetwork, I must have a wedding primer book/magazine to start with. I have to have a list of wedding essentials. Luckily, there will be a Wedding Expo at MOA-SMX Convention Centre on September 25 &26, and the book/magazine is available there.

They're also rooting for a Tagaytay wedding or anywhere in the south like Paranaque, Alabang, Laguna, and Cavite. Manila/North venues are also considered as long as it is green and aesthetically pleasing. They prefer outdoors, garden-with-pool type or beach  wedding (?) :) I already have a primary  list and have already inquired to some of them, I'm just waiting for their responses.
